'A lot of my paintings deal with feelings of alienation. This one was inspired by rush hour in a London station'. A picture all about modern anxiety 

Most of Jeremy Cunningham's paintings are 'untitled' to enable the viewer to look at them without preconception; the artist notes are provided as reasons for painting rather than being illustrative.
