About This Piece
Love is a raw, immersive piece, evolving over more than a year and reflecting shifting thoughts, anxieties, and events along the way. One of the earliest layers includes a reference to the Titan sub disaster, anchoring the painting’s timeline while reinforcing its themes of vulnerability, obsession, and the passage of time.
Like much of Jeremy’s work, this piece is a diary in paint, blending historical, personal, and contemporary influences into a layered, expressive composition. The result is an intense, feverish vision—a hypochondriac’s fever dream, as he puts it—capturing the restless energy of both the artist and the world around him.
Created in mixed media (acrylic, oil, spray paint & pens) on canvas (1x1.5m), the work is signed, dated, and orientated on the back.
