Acrylic paint on canvas 8ft x 6ft, 1997
A bit of hope under the S Bahn in Berlin, circa 97
This was also the single cover for Levellers ‘Beautiful Day’, based on experiences around Kottbusser Tor U-Bahn in Berlin
Although most of Jeremy Cunningham's paintings are 'untitled' to enable the viewer to look at them without preconception; King of All Time appeared as the cover to the Levellers' biggest hit single 'What A Beautiful Day'. Which was itself renamed from its original title of 'King of All Time'.
Jeremy is renowned for his Levellers album artwork but he is also a prolific artist in his own right. After years of gentle persuasion, we are very proud to be able to offer you these limited edition reproductions of a selection of his paintings either on canvas or framed or unframed prints.
